Learning structure

 Short description. This course will help participants to avoid common English language problems when writing the modern natural sciences research article. For this purpose, topics will include: principles of effective science article writing, scientific jargon and complexity, writing reproducible research, table and figure content, creating a readable abstract, and writing to promote your research. The course will use case study materials, but time will be provided for class participants to present their own writing samples for in-class critique.

 Content: Theory, practice, independent work

 Developed skills. Prepare your English-language scientific journal articles with more confidence.

 Target group. VMU academic and non-academic staff. 

 Duration. 16 academic hours.

 Place. Room 303, K. Donelaičio St. 52.

 Professional development practices by groups of competencies. Group 2 - professional competencies (didactical, digital, research, subject-related, etc.).

 The direction of professional development practices. Level B training program (experienced) - for those wishing to develop and/or acquire new competencies or to maintain existing qualifications.

Dr. Ramutis Kiparskis' possesses:

20 years of experience working as an academic researcher and technical consultant. He has mentored dozens of students and post-graduates across scientific disciplines in the USA. He enjoys teaching and sharing his experience to promote quality scientific research and communications.
